Meeting Rooms

The Southern Maryland Higher Education Center offers over 40 meeting rooms totaling 25,799 sq/ft of dedicated meeting space. Rooms include our Center Hall that can seat 430 or 140 in each of the three sections, a Multi-Purpose Room seating 120, two Lecture Rooms seating 50, 30 Meeting Rooms seating 15-30, five 25 station Computer Labortories, and two Board Rooms seating 10-16. There are laser projectors and computers in all rooms.

GWU Proposal for an M.S. in Engineering Mgt. at SMHEC Approved

The George Washington University proposes to begin an M.S. in Engineering Management with a Focus in Information Security and Software Engineering at SMHEC in Spring 2009. The proposal has been approved by the SMHEC Board of Governors and is pending approval by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
